2020 1st Semester Finals Update

In-Person Learners

• Due to the extenuating circumstances of the 1st semester of the 2020-2021 school year, “formal” finals will not be given this semester except in College level courses where they are required by the University.

• There will be no opting out of scheduled days. Students will continue to attend in-person and via Zoom on their scheduled days through December 22nd. December 22nd is a 2 hr. early out.

• Teachers will continue with regularly planned instruction, assignments, and assessments through the end of the semester.

• Teachers MAY give cumulative assessments, however, the assessments will not be weighted at 10% or 20% of the semester grade.

• Teachers will communicate the expectations and timeline of their courses to students.

Virtual Learners

• Due to the consistency of the virtual learning setting and the communicated expectations of virtual learning;

• All cumulative exams must be completed prior to 1:00 PM on December 22nd.

• Cumulative exams in Edgenuity will be unlocked on December 21st if you have not previously taken them.
