The SMS Cross Country team came out on top this past Saturday with both boys and girls teams achieving first place in the team category at the Savannah Invitational meet!
The 1.5 mile course hosted at the Savannah High School gave athletes the chance to run amid their hometown crowd. Awards were given to the top 10 female and top 10 male finishers with several SMS students receiving medals and working together as a pack to achieve their goals.

Tinley Byergo (1st), Lily Thornton (2nd), Ryleigh Brooner (3rd), Lia Angold (7th), Aniyah Durham (9th)

Coen Clark (6th), Wyatt Jones (7th), Braylen Price (8th)
